March 5th, 2012
The apocalypse associated with the end of the Mayan calender is supposedly scheduled for December 21, 2012. It’s also been suggested that that date might be wrong, but I think it’s safe to say that our culture has embraced Dec. 21, 2012 as a significant date. Unfortunately that means silly movies like 2012, but also fun things like end of the world cruises and other end of the world parties we should plan ahead for. Maybe you’re not a big partier and would like to do something a little different.
Why not bring in a new life on a day of death?
This is the month to conceive to have a chance to have a baby born on Dec. 21, 2012. Current technology may allow labor to be induced on the right day to make sure your child is special.
Think of the naming opportunities:
Maya
Lord/Lady Doom
Bada Boom
Omega Alpha
Kurtz
Nibiru
Mel Gibson
Or pick your favorite doomsday myth to have fun with, or perhaps the name of a hero who prevents the doomsday (e.g. Leeloo, which I think is a great name). Others?
Seriously, I do think we might see an uptick in “Maya” although I’m personally rooting for “Lady Doom.”
