Launch Pad Attendees 2012

I’ve had a busy semester, and busy post-semester so far, and haven’t managed to post this yet. Let me preface the list with the fact that we had more than 75 applications this year, a record, and we agonized over the choices. There were many more we wanted to take, and there’s no guarantee we took the right ones, but we did our honest best. We also did a few things to stretch the budget and get in a few more participants, and just wish it could have been everyone. We’ve got writers, editors, directors, video game writers, science fiction types and fantasy types both, YA authors, established pros and new up and comers. It should be a great group again, and I just wish it could be bigger. I suspect this is about as many that space and budget considerations will allow, and we’ll be compromising the program at a larger size.
