The more I think about it, the more I think Prometheus sucked.
Onward with the starlinks…
I’ve blogged about a similar notion, but consider here again What if everything is science fiction? (Wired)

Atomic rockets, space colonies, and X-ray binaries.
Legitimate concerns about global catastrophe. I’m an optimist, and believer in technology to solve problems, but I also believe that prevention is the best medicine. We should listen to smart guys doing science. Maybe we will be able to do that with the Heartland Institute’s lies being challenged and their loss of supporters.
North Carolina recently embarrassed themselves by voting for discrimination, and nearly continued the trend by ignoring scientific reality concerning sea level, but decided that enough was enough. I’ll be blogging more about this soon, as I’m reading and can recommend The Republican Brain, but for now here’s an article about how the scientific results that conservatives deny science are being denied by conservatives.
I’m considering 2312 by Kim Stanley Robinson. Anyone read it yet?
The demise of guys: how video games and porn are ruining a generation of men. Only to people who are trying to force men into a particular role, and there are some guys, and girls, in any age who will take things too far. I’m going to play a little Diablo III later tonight in protest.
A Black Panther movie? Yes!
Six most half-assed superhero origins. Black Panther did not make it.
Preview of Before Watchmen. Want it.
Star Wars shot like a Spanish telenovella. Funny!
