I am back in my university office in Porto Alegre and found some open browser windows, in addition to some new links of interest. If I posted and of these in March already, mea culpa! That seems like a lifetime ago already.
A primer on orbital mechanics, handy for sf writers.
And the newer links.
Lost Zelzany novel issued. Yay, new Zelazny from beyond the grave!
How a scientist’s theories may be related to their sex life. Funny cartoon for physics geeks, anyway.
Lessons in space repair at Hubble. Nice example for hard sf writers, too, it is.
Some physics based on the Star Trek movie. Interesting, but flawed, I think, as the red matter doesn’t do what I think they think it does. Follow me? I am probably still going to write my own post on the bizarro Trek physics, and will rant on at least one or two boneheaded pieces of astronomy. Phil Plait touched on them, but I still feel unhappy about them now a week later.
I had one other link today, but that website seems down. I will save it for later.
