Muffy the Vampire Layer…

…or how Sarah Michelle Geller knew she had made it as an actress. I still haven’t finished working my way back through the all the Buffy seasons (I’ve slacked off a bit with my running after the marathon), but I’m watching episodes every week, so she is fresh in my mind.

I guess the equivalent for a writer would be knowing that you had made it when you found the fanfic slash stories with your characters. Which I haven’t (but I admit that I don’t go looking, either). So I guess I have a ways to go before I can feel secure in my big-time writer status. A new goal to work toward!
