Why can’t science journalists just tell it like it is when it comes to particle physics? I’m a little torn on this one, although tending to agree with the case argued.  Cutting edge physics is cool enough without shrouding it in mystery and pretending it’s a religion.

Falcon 1, a private space craft, makes it to space.  Cool!

Dark flows in space.  Interesting, and perhaps worth more discussion.

61 Nobel Laureates in science endorse Obama.   Obama is pro-science, generally, and McCain’s VP pick and other anti-science pandering make this a no-brainer if science is your issue.  Eight years of the Bush administration have made this issue more important given the damage done.

The best for last.  Really cool XKCD webcomic of the observable universe.  No, really, really cool.  Check it out.  Love, love, love it.
