Phil Plait over at Bad Astronomy has the scoop. Included is a different image release on HR 8799, which is more conservative and only claims a detection of the two outer planets, not three as described in the now vanished Keck press release. I suspect that there has been some disagreements on the team about how to present this, and they are fighting over being bold and possibly wrong, or being conservative with a still great result and no risk of a mistake.
Also quite astonishing is ANOTHER planet from a DIFFERENT star that Hubble has managed to image. It’s like astroX-mas today!
Phil has already done a great job posting about these, so I encourage you to go over there to read more.
