OK, I thought Dracula and vampires were old and busted, but why do we continue to have Anne Rice, Laurel K. Hamilton, etc., selling like crazy? The latest addition to this trend is first-time novelist Elizabeth Kostova's Dracula book The Historian which brought in a two million dollar advance.
