I agree with some of it, and have serious concerns about other aspects. But in some respects, I guess it is my job to be concerned, so take that as you will. I personally worry more about the scientific literacy of the general populace, which gives our government leaders the ability to make up stuff when they want to ignore science and still give the impression they're using science.
