How I Spent My Summer Vacation Part 1
OK, professors don't get summers off contrary to popular belief. There's plenty of research to do. But you have to take vacations regularly, especially with busy and stressful jobs, no matter how rewarding. I'll do a few entries in the next couple of weeks sharing some of the things I've been up to, work and play. Here's some of the play:
That's me, flying over Rio de Janeiro, two parts exhiliarated and one part totally freaked out. I had to do, you see, for research for the second novel I'm revising, which has some hang gliding in it.
