I'm not a morning person. I'm not a late morning person. I can stay up late like no one out there -- I hate to go to bed. As a professional astronomer, that's occasionally a handy talent.
Waking up though...that's another story.
I won a department award last year for dedication to science by getting to work before 9AM two days in a row to attend a telecon meeting (in DC).
And I hate coffee. It's a bit of a cliche, but I prefer Diet Mt. Dew.
